by Frank Hammon/Deirdre Blake posted Nov 21 2012 7:48PM

Virginia State Police have charged a New Jersey man with multiple felony counts following an early Wednesday morning incident on I-95 in Prince William County.  Thety say David A. Servais of New Jersey was making threats on a bus from Richmond to New York City.
The incident began at about 3:30 a.m. and State police immediately evacuated the bus of its passengers and driver.
Servais at first refused to get off the bus, barricading himself in a bus bathroom. He was later taken into custody without incident.
Because of the man's threats to harm the other passengers, authorities thoroughly examined the bus for any suspicious packages. Nothing was found and the bus was cleared just before 6:00 a.m.
The investigation continues.
Servais is charged with threatening to bomb a mode of transportation; abduction by force; drunk in public and of being a fugitive from justice.
