Senator Mark Warner introduces legislation to make the voting process quicker and easier.
The FAST Voting Act would provide incentive grants for states which choose to speed-up reforms that make it easier for people to register and to vote early. He says it was unacceptable that some voters in northern Virginia and other localities waited in line for nearly four hours on election day to cast a ballot. Warner calls it remarkable that it was five days after the election before presidential results came in from Florida.
