The State Board of Elections is in the home stretch of a voter education and outreach campaign, leading up to the general election.
In an effort to reach all 5 million registered voters in the the battleground state, the "Are You Election Ready" campaign has gone on for weeks. Print and radio ads, billboards, bus and tv ads have been teaching people about new voter id laws.
In late September, the SBE mailed new voter registration cards to all of the nearly 5 million active registered voters in the state.
