Warrants Being Issued After Northern Virginia Chase

Virginia State Police are getting warrants for the arrest of a Dunn Loring man that leads police on a high speed chase in northern Virginia Tuesday afternoon. A trooper responded to a speeding motorcycle on I-495 south near Braddock Road. He attempts to stop its driver for excessive speed and reckless driving. The motorcycle refuses and instead sped away. While the trooper was chasing the bike, it struck his cruiser and causes some damage. After the bike gets back onto Backlick Road, the trooper stops because of heavy traffic.
The man will be charged with reckless driving, misdemeanor hit-and-run, and one felony count of eluding police.
