Water Okay in Metro Stations, for Now

Extreme heat Wednesday and Thursday means people are being allowed to drink water in Metro stations and on trains through the system closing Thursday night. They are encouraged to use tight sealing bottles and trash cans when they are done.
Children and adults with respiratory diseases, like asthma, should limit strenuous outdoor activities. 
Try to avoid unnecessary car trips and excessive engine idling and combine errands. Also, consider sharing a ride or taking public transportation.
