Water Will Not be Turned Off in Part of Prince Georges After All

by Deirdre Blake/Frank Hammon posted Jul 17 2013 4:21PM
If you venture along the Beltway across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge, this week, you might still be able to make a "pit stop" to use a rest room.
The water was to be turned "off" while a large water main is repaired in Prince Georges County. Now officials say water has been diverted from elsewhere to that area where 300,000 people would have been affected. They say if conservation efforts are respected and people are responsible, everyone should still have water.
