A woman staying at a Spotsylvania hotel was assaulted and robbed early Sunday morning.
It happened at the Econolodge on Route One just before 4 a.m. when several men pushed the woman into the room as she answered a knock at her door. They then tasered and pushed her onto the bed. She was restrained there while the men went through her room taking cash and electronics. The victim was checked by rescue personnel at the scene.
