We all wait for Punxsutawney Phil's weather prediction from Pennsylvania on groundhog's day each year.
This time it turns dangerous for the Mayor of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin though, when he gets too close to the city's weather-predicting critter. The handlers of Jimmy the groundhog were holding him close to the Mayor's face and he promptly chomped down on the lawmaker's ear. If you want an honest answer from a coworker, boss, friend or family member, plan to ask your question early in the day.
A Psychological Science study finds that people are more likely to answer honestly between 8:00 a.m. and noon versus noon and 6:00 p.m. Being well rested seems to make it easier for people to fess up to the truth, instead of hiding it.

We've heard that cats have nine lives, but this is a real life flash back to Pet Sematary. Instead, it involves Bart the cat, not Church and no evil demons.
When his owner found him not breathing in the road, he was heartbroken and asked his neighbor to bury the cat instead. The neighbor dug a shallow grave, but a few days later, Bart apparently clawed his way out. He needed an extensive surgery and was dehydrated and hungry. A Humane Society vet says, all things considered, is doing okay and should be just fine. His owner says he looks a little rough, but is as affectionate as ever.
