Your Dog's Red Skin and Constant Scratching Could be Hayfever

by Deirdre Blake posted Oct 17 2013 10:12AM
If your dog is constantly scratching and chewing or rubbing its face and ears on the carpet, it could be allergies.
A local vet tells is dogs can suffer just like we do from the ragweed season and it affects their skin. Bacteria canthen enter breaks in the skin, multiply and cause more problems.
You can try cool baths and wipe their feet when they come inside, but they should see a vet to treat the underlying problem.
