Bonnie Miller

I take over as soon as Jeff Beck is done.  My show is filled with Today's New Country, giveaways and important local information that you need to know.  I'm your hometown girl!  I grew up and I still live in the Fredericksburg/Spotsylvania area.  I went to Lee Hill Elementary, John J Wright Middle and graduated from Courtland High School in 1997.  I know this area the best!  I will keep you informed with all the traffic for your ride home and play you all of Today's New Country!

Send me e-mail at Bmiller@wfls.com or call me on the studio line at 373-5670.

On my way into work this morning, I stopped off at the Fredericksburg Farmers Market, at Hurkamp Park to get some farm fresh strawberries. There was only one farmer there,
C&T Produce. They had strawberries and lots of them. They smell wonderful and taste delicious. I'm going to surprise my dad with some tomorrow morning. His birthday is in a few days so it will be a nice treat for him. :)

Join me tomorrow at the '7th Annual Ladysmith Day'. It's a FREE, family fun event from 11am to 4pm in the Ladysmith Villiage.

The Clay Mottley Band will take the stage from 11-1:15pm. Don't miss the eclectic mix of music from this talented singer/songwriter.

Introducing Phoenix 90, they will on the Ladysmith Day main stage for your entertainment — with Shannon Peterson.

There's plenty of FREE activities for the kids from Pony Rides to face painting to the Caroline Family YMCA Fun Zone and the Kids Craft Zone in the air conditioned Residents Club Building.

Part of this year's Ladysmith Day Festival is the car and motorcycle show. Donations from the car/motorcycle show will go to Casey Purcell who is battling 'OVARIAN CANCER'.

Most of all bring an appetite for the different types of food from BBQ to ribs to pizza to cheese steaks and funnel cakes, to...well there's a wide variety to choose for almost everyone's taste.

If you're coming from outside the area look for the signs on U.S. 1 and the off ramps of the Ladysmith Exit of I-95.

There will be lots of fun stuff, including a Cornhole Tournament. The weather is going to be perfect. Sunny & 75! I hope to see you there! :)
