Veterans Day Freebies & Discounts

To honor and salute our Veterans on this Veterans Day many restaurants/businesses are offering free or discounted meals.  These offers are strictly for vets; active-duty and retired for November 11th, 2024.  Make sure to have Military I.D. or go in uniform!  (*Call ahead to confirm)

Here’s a list of places in our area…

7-eleven- Veterans Advantage, offers year-round exclusive deals to America’s veterans through its 7-Eleven Salutes Veterans program. Through 7Rewards, customers can enter their Veterans Advantage Member ID to connect their account.

Applebee’s — Veterans and active-duty military receive a free meal from a select menu on November 11 at participating locations. Dine-in only.

BJ’s Restaurant is giving veterans a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with their purchase over $9.95 and a valid military ID or proof of service on Veterans Day, November 11th, 2023. Active and retired service members who spend over $14.95 on Veterans Day will receive a coupon for a free appetizer to use from November 12th to December 31st, 2023. Please note that offers and discounts cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts.

Bob Evans – Special free menu for veterans.

Buffalo Wild Wings – Free order of boneless wings and side of fries for all veterans, active-duty military, both dine-in and takeout, at participating U.S. locations.

Chick-fil-A- Free Chicken biscuit or Chicken Sandwich with Military ID.

Chili’s Grill & Bar – Free meal from a special menu for veterans, active-duty military.

Cracker Barrel – In-store specials on Nov. 11 for veterans, including free slice of double fudge Coca-Cola cake with their meal; promotions throughout November – Military Appreciation Month – to support military families, in partnership with Operation Homefront.

Denny’s – Free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast from 5 a.m. until noon for veterans, active-duty military.

Dunkin’ – Free doughnut, all locations nationwide, no purchase necessary, for veterans, active-duty military; veterans get 10% off doughnuts and coffee, year-round.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill —   Treat a Hero to a free meal on Veteran’s Day at Firebirds Wood Fired Grill.  Dine in with a Veteran or Active-Duty Service Member on Monday, November 11th and lunch or dinner is our treat.  (Free Entrée equal or less than your purchase)

Freddy’s Frozen Custard and Steakburgers — Veterans and active-duty military personnel who visit participating locations on November 11 will receive a meal card valid for a free combo meal of their choice. Cards may be redeemed through December 31, 2024.

Golden Corral — Golden Corral is hosting their Military Appreciation Night on November 11 from 5pm to close. This includes a free “thank you” meal when dining in.

Hooters– free dinner entrée from the Veterans Day Menu to veterans and active-duty military on November 11. Eligible guests must show proof of service and purchase a drink. This dine-in offer is valid at select Hooters locations.

IHOP – Free Red, White and Blueberry pancakes for veterans, active-duty military, all locations, for dine-in customers.

IKEA – Veterans get a free meal.

Krispy Kreme – Free doughnut and coffee for veterans.

Little Caesars – Free Lunch Combo from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. for veterans, active-duty military at participating locations.

Logan’s Roadhouse – Free meal from American roadhouse menu for veterans, active-duty military from 3 to 6 p.m. at all locations.

Metro Diner – 50% off any meal for veterans, active-duty military.

O’Charley’s – Free meal ($10 value) for veterans off a Veterans Thank-You Menu at participating locations.

Olive Garden – Free entrée from a special menu (all include breadsticks and choice of soup or salad) for veterans, active-duty military.

Outback Steakhouse — Free bloomin’ onion and Coca-Cola for veterans, active-duty military.

Red Lobster – Free appetizer or dessert for veterans; 10% discount for veterans, active-duty on Miliary Mondays throughout the year.

Red Robin – Veterans and active-duty military guests can enjoy a complimentary Red’s Big Tavern Burger and Bottomless Side when dining in at participating restaurants on November 11.

Starbucks – Free 12-ounce (tall) hot-brewed coffee for veterans, active-duty military, reservists, military spouses.

Texas Roadhouse — At participating locations, active-duty military and veterans can dine in or receive a meal voucher on November 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a form of military ID. These vouchers are good for dine in or carry out at a later time. The voucher is good until May 30, 2025. If you choose to dine in on November 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m, there will be a specific menu to select from.

Wawa– All Veterans, active Military, and families get a FREE any size hot coffee.

Wendy’s – Free small breakfast combo, no purchase necessary, for veterans, active-duty military.

YMMAS – 15% off when you use code USA1 when ordering online on November 11th.

Other discounts:

Great Clips – Veterans and active-duty military can get a free haircut on Nov. 11, or a coupon for one at a later date.

Sports Clips – Free haircuts for veterans and active-duty military at some locations, click here for locations.

Target – Target is offering a 10% discount covering your full basket, excluding certain items. You can use the discount twice during the promotional period of Oct. 30-Nov. 12. To redeem the offer, guests must verify eligibility by registering here.

Colonial Williamsburg – Free admission for veterans, active-duty military and families on Veterans Day weekend.

National Parks – All U.S. national parks and historic sites managed by the National Park Service will have free admission for all visitors Nov. 11.
