Bucket Barn Bash

Little Buckets Farm Sanctuary, a nonprofit farm animal rescue in Brodnax, VA will be celebrating their 5th Anniversary hosting their very first big event. The event will be casual with a very laid back atmosphere that will include music by Acoustic Fuego. Heavy Hors D’oeuvres will be served by Pure Vegan Cafe. This will be a BYOB Event(beer/wine only). Each person will receive a Swag bag to take home. And running along will be an online auction that bidding will be ending the night of the event. Be ready to play some corn hole, sit by a firepit, dance, hang out with specially abled goat Pisa and our animal whisperer rescue dog, Colton with so many amazingly supportive people.
Our goal with the event and auction running alongside it is to help raise much needed funds that will help with the care of the animals from feed, hay, bedding, vet bills, farrier visits, and so much more.
We are so thankful for all the amazing businesses and people who have donated items, gift certificates, and so much to our auction. So many cool auctions to bid on. Everyone can bid on items but we sure hope you will want to attend our event.
Little Buckets began in May 2018 when the Founder/President of the sanctuary, Susan Klingenberg, moved from Maryland to Virginia. She knew no one in the local area but she wanted to help as many animals as possible. She now cares for over 45 animals from horses to cows to goats to donkeys to pigs to dogs and cats. These animals are all her family and treated with so much love and care. Susan along with the help of her brother and her volunteer team handle the daily care of the animals and maintaining the farm. However, Susan wears an incredible number of hats running the nonprofit, fundraising, social media as well as so much of the care of the animals which includes special needs goats that live in her house.
