Founded in 2021, Northern Virginia Community Orchestra (NVCO) is a non-profit community based orchestra serving Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC. The membership of the NVCO consists of amateur and professional musicians who donate their time and efforts to rehearsals and concerts. The orchestra is under the direction of Music Director Stephen Shook and is supported by a six-member Board of Trustees. The NVCO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
