Join Steve & Tiffany on April 22 from 10AM-12PM for the FXBG City Social at The Shoppes of Westwood, off Plank Road! Stop by say hello and take a picture at the photobooth!
Mark your calendars and join us Saturday, April 22nd, 10 am to 1 pm for the FXBG City Social, a fun-filled event for the whole family! We’re bringing together a variety of community partners to provide an engaging, fun, and informative experience for all attendees.
First Responders from the Fredericksburg Fire Department will be here with a fire truck, providing demonstrations, hats and coloring books for the kids and answering questions about fire safety. The Fredericksburg City Police Department will be onsite offering car seat install safety checks making sure your kiddos are safe and secure on the road. The Sheriff’s Office will also be on hand with none other than “McGruff the Crime Dog” to teach families how they can “take a bite out of crime”.
The Fredericksburg SPCA foster parents will be here with some of their adorable pets available for adoption and information on how you can become a foster parent, so stop by and meet your new furry friend! We’re also proud to welcome Leashes for Valor, an organization that provides service animals to veterans and raises funds to provide training to dogs. Learn about their mission and how you can support their important work.
We’re excited to announce that the Bookmobile Fredericksburg will join us at the event. This incredible organization provides free books to children to help promote literacy and the love of literature. Please stop by their booth to learn more about their mission and pick up some great reading material for your kids or bring some kid friendly books to donate.
How exciting to have Gus, the mascot from the Fredericksburg Nationals Baseball Team, joining us for some fun activities and information on the upcoming 2023 baseball season. Go FREDNATS! When you’re ready for a snack or refreshment, check out the ice cream and food trucks on site. Plenty activities will keep the kids entertained while you explore the different areas and learn more about our community partners. Enter our raffle to win and amazing basket filled with all kinds of freebies and goodies from local businesses.
