Please join The Rappahannock EMS Council’s Community Outreach and Patient Engagement Program (COPE) and your local community health and wellness providers next Tuesday, April 12 12 to 1:30pm at St. George’s Episcopal Church’s The Table in Market Square.
We are introducing a new Health and Wellness Training Program at 12:30pm at the COPE Tent at the Table. Arlen Trujillo from the Rappahannock Area Health District will do a presentation on Female Wellness, Family Planning, and Every Woman’s Life. She will be giving out women’s health brochures.
The Lloyd Moss Free Clinic will also be there to conduct blood pressure and glucose checks, provide help with Medicare and Medicaid questions, and be available for general health and wellness advice.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to learn how to use AccessMeCare Rappahannock which helps vulnerable individuals find the most convenient and appropriate points of care. AccessMeCare™ serves as a virtual social worker and one-stop-shop for locally relevant healthcare providers, social service organizations, and educational programs.
