Household Hazardous Waste Day

Residents of the City of Fredericksburg and Stafford County are invited to a complimentary event. Accepted materials include gasoline, oil, oil-based stains, paint thinner, oil paint, wood polish, furniture stain, herbicides, pesticides, pool chemicals, and various household chemicals. Additionally, electronic items like cell phones, laptops, iPads, printer cartridges, computer cables, and printers are welcome. However, the event will not accept biohazards, oxygen tanks, asbestos, medical waste, explosives/ammunition, cylinders exceeding 20 lbs, televisions, and old CRT monitors.
