Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum selling John Ford Coley will perform an intimate evening of music on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at 7:30 pm at Louisa Arts Center (212 Fredericksburg Ave) in Louisa, VA. Tickets for the show are $35 and available via the Louisa Arts Center website at LouisaArts.org.

Best known as one-half of the multi-platinum selling duo England Dan & John Ford Coley, with hits such as “I’d Really Love to See You Tonight”, “Love Is The Answer”, “We’ll Never Have To Say Goodbye”, “Nights Are Forever Without You”, “Just Tell Me You Love Me”, and MORE, for nearly six decades, prolific singer-songwriter and gold record-recording artist Coley has thrilled audiences around the globe with his timeless and compelling music.

Born in Dallas, Texas, John grew up listening to the Grand Ole Opry and early rock and roll music. He also grew up singing church hymns and learning to play classical piano. When he was just 16 years old, he and schoolmate Dan Seals, joined the group Theze Few–the band became Southwest F.O.B. and toured the Texas music scene. They had one hit in 1969, “The Smell of Incense”, which hit number 43 on the charts – and soon the band got to play on stage with Led Zeppelin and other acts. Later renamed England Dan & John Ford Coley, the duo was signed by A&M Records. The duo released eight albums, one which was certified triple-platinum and earned them a Grammy nomination. The duo topped the charts in three different nations—Japan, Israel, and the United States (where he notched six Top-20s (four of them charting in the Top-10).
