I need some gardening advice!

I have these raised beds in my garden.   But my chickens keep getting in them.  Last year, anything I planted in the raised beds was destroyed within a day or two.  They haven’t bothered my lavender that is coming back.

These raised beds are off the ground.

The chickens have free range of the entire backyard.   Except my in ground garden.  That’s fenced off.  I never had an issue with my hens getting in the raised beds until these littles came along.  They even taught Buttercup how to get in there and dig up the dirt.

What can I put on the raised beds that would keep the chickens out that isn’t expensive?
