Here are the Top 10 things you should NEVER do at a movie theater:

The Top 10 Theater Faux Pas:

1. FaceTiming during the movie – Only 4% of people think this is okay. (Who are these 4%, anyway?)
2. Leaving trash behind – Seriously, clean up after yourself.
3. Taking a phone call – Nobody wants to hear your conversation.
4. Spoiling plot points – 6% think it’s fine to shout out spoilers? (We’re judging you.)
5. Putting your feet on the seat in front of you – Keep it classy.
6. Bringing your dog – Unless it’s a service animal, leave Fido at home.
7. Eating or drinking loudly – Crunching popcorn at max volume isn’t appreciated.
8. Talking at full volume – Shockingly, 11% think this is okay. (Really???)
9. Taking photos or recording video – Just don’t.
10. Yelling at someone for being rude – Ironically, 17% think this is acceptable.

What’s Totally Fine (According to Most People):

• Getting up to use the bathroom – 92% agree it’s acceptable.
• Applauding at the end – 86% are cool with showing your appreciation.
• Leaving early if you’re not enjoying the movie – 80% say that’s fair game.

The Gray Areas:

• Saving seats – 58% say it’s okay.
• Texting – Only 36% are on board.
• Making out – 32% think it’s fine (just keep it PG, please).
• Taking your shoes off – 24% are cool with it. (The rest? Not so much.)

Sneaking Snacks:

This one’s controversial! 56% of Americans now say it’s okay to bring your own food, while 27% are against it, and 17% are undecided.
