Reviving Goolrick’s…

If you were born and raised in Fredericksburg, then you know of Goolrick’s.   It’s been around for 125+ years.  It was established in 1897.

It’s currently being renovated and restored.   It’s a Fredericksburg treasure.  I can’t wait to visit once it’s reopened again.

You can see the progress on the renovations and restorations by watching the attached video.  They have many episodes.  It’s really neat to see.

I have been to Goolrick’s many times with friends.  I always loved enjoyed a vanilla milkshake from the soda bar right at the counter.
