Costumed interpreters will read children’s books on the American Revolution and this historic day in our nation’s history at 11:30 am and 1:30 pm. Bring the family for fun face painting themed around the Fourth of July. This family event is free and open to the public. Mon., July 4 4th of July Spectacular @John Lee Pratt Park Stafford’s 4th of July Spectacular will kick off at 6pm at John Lee Pratt Park. The evening will include live music, Surprise Grab Bags for family fun, yard games, food trucks, a DJ and Fireworks. The Fredericksburg Concert Band will perform at Celebration Stage from 6:30pm-8pm. The firework display will begin at dusk. Admission is FREE and open to ALL. Please note: parking is free and available onsite however it is limited, typically parking spaces fill up quickly and park will have to close the gate prior to dusk.
