Who’s Ready for an Alien Invasion?

If aliens ever invade America, it might be time to panic. Unless, of course, they turn out to be the friendly kind—think ALF, Roger from American Dad, or E.T. But let’s face it, chances are slim, and some of us might be in deeper trouble than others.

A recent “study” crunched the numbers to see which states are best equipped to handle an alien invasion. They factored in UFO sightings, terrain, defense systems, science and medical resources, and even food and beverage manufacturing.

So, who’s sitting pretty? Virginia takes the top spot with the highest “alien survival score.” Alabama is close behind, followed by Minnesota, Massachusetts, New York, Florida, Wisconsin, North Carolina, Alaska, and Georgia.

On the flip side, Nevada ranks dead last. (Yikes! Isn’t that where Area 51 is?) Idaho, Arizona, Nebraska, Oregon, Utah, Oklahoma, New Hampshire, South Carolina, and Wyoming round out the bottom 10.
