What Hollywood Is Remaking…After 40 Years!

I guess some stories really do “never end”. Hard to believe it’s been 40 years since “The Neverending Story” first enchanted audiences. In today’s Hollywood, that’s practically ancient, practically begging for a remake. And guess what? That’s exactly what’s in the works.

But here’s the twist: they’re not just remaking it as a single film. No, they’re aiming to create an entire series of movies. Because if there’s anything Hollywood adores more than revamps and re-imaginings, it’s sprawling (never ending) franchises. Remember, the original spawned two forgettable sequels back in 1990 and 1994. The movie actually got a little boost in 2019, when the them song was prominently featured in Season 3 of “Stranger Things” –but even that is ancient history in Hollywood now.
